I was always out and about as a kid, there was a big park right across

Ben Jenkin
- founding athlete
Ever since I was a child I was always very active and always looking for
a new way to challenge myself, so I played every sport I could. At an
early age I played basketball at a national level for the north west of
England as the starting point guard. But after a year I was drawn away
from it by the excitement of parkour, it wasn't like anything I'd ever
done before, I think that’s what has kept me interested in it for so
long.

Marcus Gustafsson

I was doing gymnastics for 10 years and began to get tire of it. There
was always someone who decided what to do and not to do. So me and some
friends began to do flips outdoors for fun, without knowing rely what
Freerunning was. We had heard of parkour, but this was something else
back then. There were also those who whined on the gymnasts and said
that they just do their thing indoors on carpet.
