Creative Jam – Poland’s First Freerunning Competition
From Filip “Philipek” Stachowiak:On 11 and 12 of February, freerunners from all over Poland will come to Warsaw to take part in the first Polish freerunning competition of creativity in movement, which will take place on a special gym during the two-day Creative Jam.
On the first day, participants will have a unique chance to learn from and get inspired by two special guests, who will add splendour to the event. Pavel “Pasha” Petkuns from Latvia and Alexander “White” Zyulev from Russia will conduct two-hour workshops and will be there for everyone.
The second day will see Polish first freerunning competition. Contestants’ runs will be assessed by four judges in such areas as flow, style, creativity of movement, difficulty and safety. The obstacle course consisting of scaffoldings and special vault boxes will be designed so as to encourage freerunners to find in themselves as much creativity as possible.
The main organiser of Creative Jam is Parkour United Association. Detailed information can be found on official website of the event: www.creativejam.parkourunited.pl.
